Quality Tutoring To Help Children Become Lifelong Learners

I taught 4th and 5th graders for four years at Eisenhower Elementary School in the Cupertino Union School District. Prior to that, I was a 7th grade teacher at Hyde Middle School and a 4th grade teacher at Valencia Valley Elementary in Valencia, California.

I was raised in Pacific Grove, California (Monterey Peninsula) and moved to Santa Clarita, California to go to school at The Master's College.  After graduating and earning my California Teaching Credential, I began teaching fourth grade at Valencia Valley Elementary School (Los Angeles County). One year later, I decided to move to Cupertino to be closer to friends and family (and to get married).  I am married to a very wonderful man, Mr. Berry.  We were married on February 18th, 2006.  Mr. Berry works at The King's Academy. We also have two wonderful sons, Joshua and Caleb and a daughter, Mackenzie.

A few things that I love are hiking, traveling, spending time with friends and family, reading, and cooking.  I have found that I love teaching and I have a passion for creating a safe and fun learning environment for my students.

As an educator, I will never settle for being merely sufficient; I must be exemplary in all that I do. It is only though a personal, genuine and unceasing passion for learning that I may truly inspire my students to strive for the same.
